Have you thought about counseling?
Hi! I’m Norine Vander Hooven and I help individuals who are having a hard time navigating their day to day life because of depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, or life transition. Have you thought about seeking out counseling because you are feeling sad or down in the dumps? You have difficulty getting things done because you have no energy. Even the smallest things are making you tearful. Lately you are feeling so overwhelmed and you have no control over your life. There may be times where your heart is racing a million miles a minutes because you’re anxious about something. Maybe you are saying to yourself “I’m the one everyone comes to for help, I have to be strong” or “It’s just that I’m having a rough time lately.”
How do you take the first step in seeking out counseling?
Sometimes it can be hard for people to reach out for help. Most importantly, know that there is a way for you to change these feelings! As a result of our working together, you will be able identify and nurture your unique strengths and capabilities. Additionally, you will learn how to improve your quality of life. Some of the things you might choose to work on are your feelings of stress, sadness, suicidal thoughts, everyday life struggles, or a trauma that you may have experienced.
When you make the decision to seek counseling, you are showing signs of strength and courage. This will begin to open up a world of self-exploration and self-improvement for yourself.
